Drill Pipe

The drill pipe is a steel pipe with a threaded tail, used to connect the surface equipment of the drilling rig with the drilling and grinding equipment or bottom hole devices at the bottom of the well. The purpose of the drill pipe is to transport drilling mud to the drill bit and work with the drill bit to raise, lower, or rotate the bottom hole device. The drill pipe must be able to withstand tremendous internal and external pressure, distortion, bending, and vibration. During the process of oil and gas exploration and extraction, drill pipes can be used multiple times. Drill pipes are divided into three categories: kelly, drill pipe and weighted drill pipe.
